Confessions of a Brick Breaker Online Addiction (Poem)

This poem was inspired by my never ending addiction to Brick Breaker Online and Brick Breaker on my Blackberry.  It took hours and hours of playing to get me to a point where it was time to acknowledge my addiction.  Here it is:

Oh, Brick Breaker it’s time to take a look at our past,

From the beginning did you think our relationship would last?

You sucked every ounce of productivity from me even when times were good,

Even though I loved you like I never even thought I could.

We’ve shared memories together in bed, on the couch, and even in the tub,

Remember that time on the plane, when we joined the mile-high club?

We’ve set all kinds of records together since our relationship started,

And you never seemed to really care when I farted.

Our time together has been something very special indeed,

I’m really sad to say this, but I must be freed.

Freed of your grasp on my time to make money,

Because your killing me, so daddy can’t bring home the honey.

I’m deleting you from my life right now forever,

Can we rendezvous again?  Never say never.

If you are not over your addiction quite yet, here is one of the better bricker breaker online sites.  Good Luck!

hi my name is frankie and i am addicted to brick breaker.
I remember the first day it all started. I like to think of it as the best day of my life.. then my addiction got out of control. Heres how it all started. My dear mother bought me a blackberry for Christmas, I was delighted to see such a fun game for free on my phone. I innocently played it day after day..before I knew it..I WAS HOOKED. Its all I spoke about, I dumped my girlfriend because of her hatred for it, my grades dramatically fell BUT my highest score on Brick Breaker just seemed to get higher and higher. The adreniline rush was phenomenal…BETTER THAN SEX AND CHOCOLATE..TOGETHER!!! my friends desserted me and before i knew it i had my lunchs alone but i didn’t care because i had the bricks.

Then came ‘that day’. The day I realised what a brick monster I had become. I was agressive, trying to throw metal balls at my problems. I needed help (and a social life).

A REVALATION!! My maths teacher offered me help and advice. He helped me delete the game. No matter how many times I tried to re-add it..he helped me press that all important delete button.

Now, Ive been brickbreaker free for almost 5 hours now. Its nice- Ive joined ‘BrickBreakers Addictive Anonymous’ facebook groups, Ive admitted my problem AND I’ve had a shower for the first time in MONTHS!!

For further queries and advice quitting this discusting game please Facebook me : Frank Joe Armsden. You’ll find me on the BrickBreakers Addictive Anonymous page too. GOOD LUCK GUYS.. YOU CAN DO IT.. WE CAN FIGHT IT!!!!!!
